Mug shot Al, After a few nights of boozing and brawling
This CAT - ID#A031910.I am a male, gray and white Domestic Shorthair. My age is unknown.I have been at the shelter since Aug 18, 2009.
Mommy is CONVICED she has found Al. We are driving there this afternoon to see and pick him up. She is still pretty upset, even more so since she is scared one of the neighbors had it out for the cats and dropped them off in Gilroy and Jack still hasn't turned up... Please keep your fingers crossed......

Where oh where can they be???
With their hair to grab and their tails to pull
Where oh where can they go???
Is it a coincidence that I learned to crawl and the cats went on "vacation" or so mommy is REALLY hoping? We haven't seen two of the three cats (the smarter two Jack and Al) since Saturday when I was staring them down at the food bowl. Mommy is REALLY WORRIED!!!!! She has posted an ad on Craigslist and we might put up flyers tomorrow... So sad:( We hope they are OK, who will I chase if they aren't??? Turk just hides under the bed.

That's right I am crawling:) And where did I crawl to first??? I crawled from daddy to mommy...... took a hard left and went straight for the cat food bowls. Yes, I had been scoping that area out for awhile. I wanted to know why the cats hung out there so often, it wasn't disappointing. The mess you can make with cat food is AMAZING!!! I was kinda sad the cats didn't stick around though, they all ran out their door..... Maybe I can go there next..... HMMMMMM........

I sat up for the first time on my own today. Dad says I was at an "angle" making it easier, but mom was still pretty impressed. After that I tried to convince daddy (more like mommy) that I can ride a motorcycle too. The helmet doesn't quite fit (and daddy hasn't bought one yet) so I am gonna have to wait awhile.... Too bad!

Wait until you hear about my latest adventure.......
Don't I look cute in my big boy sweater and jeans?
We went to Big Sur and this is me with my dad in the lodge.
Unfortunately we didn't stay at the lodge......
Mom and me looking out over the valley
Dad letting me out of the Ergo to "stretch my legs"
Hiking in the Ergo
So we went on "vacation".......... Man did we have a "Little(r) Adventure". So we rented a "house" from Craigslist in Carmel Valley and we learned that if it sounds too good to be true IT IS!!!!!!! The description was AWESOME, however mom decided the ad needed to be rewritten, just a little(r) bit.
$125 for the first guest and $25 for each individual guest (this is seriously cheap, for a reason apparently). Sleeps 11 (if you like cozy conditions, and you are OK with strangers hanging with you- mom counted enough beds for 5- oh yeah and if you have enough people I can "couch" it and you can have my room. Thats right, I live there too) in a 2500 square foot home on the Carmel River with a backdrop of the Santa Lucia's. Minutes to town, restaurant, shops (and for all your shopping needs there is a "moving sale" going on in the yard), great wineries (Trust me you will NEED the wine!!!!), world renowned golf courses like Pebble. Carmel Valley is like Napa without the traffic (but parking is a bit of a pickle, that is why all the neighbors have cars on their lawns). Close to white sand beaches of Carmel, Big Sur, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Monterey's Fisherman's Wharf, Steinbeck's Cannery Row, Pacific Grove's Lover's Point, Salinas Air Show and Salinas Rodeo, Pt. Lobos Marine Preserve, etc. Garland Park is right out the back door for all your hiking and horseback riding pleasure. Horse pasture available (we have a fence and an area with a lot of poop) with fruit trees, and wild blackberries (weeds). Gourmet kitchen, with wolfe range, bosche dishwasher, stainless, granite (This is the remodeled part of the house, looks great), wood floors just refinished so no pets please (but hope you like hanging with my two dogs, they LOVE kids and licking their faces), open beam ceilings etc. Great room with huge sectional (just avoid my dogs' seat), giant sony sattelight tv with movie channels, dvd (the DVDs are part of the moving sale, but I will bring them in for you at night), dvr, wireless remote access etc. French limestone baths with vessel sink, waterfall faucets (Also very nice, remodeled part). Viewing deck overlooking the water with adirondack chairs and hammock (This was cool, Sean liked the hammock). Hear the frogs, ducks and geese out back (Also hear a critter outside your window, you can have a nightmare it is in your room attacking your baby when you hear it moving outside at night, the critters are JUST THAT CLOSE!!!). View the starry nights. Such a magical (memorable if nothing else) place. This place is out of the fog zone and in the sunshine with a cool afternoon ocean breeze that never lets it get to hot. 11 miles to the beach. Completely furnished with linens and towels and kitchen needs etc. (Just FYI, the house is also listed in the "For Sale" section so you might have a few "extras" swinging by to look at the place...... If you are naked in the bathroom or breastfeeding we can avoid that area...... Yes, Jeff WAS in the shower and I WAS feeding Sean during the "grand tour")
Anyways, it was definitely a vacation we will always remember. The bright side was that since "more guests" were coming on Saturday we went home a day early...... Since Sean got his first MAJOR earache and fever Sunday around 1 am, it worked out for the best.
